Opportunities to show landscaping skills--and get paid--at Garden & Home ShowFebruary 2020 may seem like a far-off date, but the deadline is approaching to participate in the 2020 Colorado Garden & Home Show as a feature gardener. Participants must apply to design and install a feature garden, which comes with benefits beyond exposure to more than 50,000 show attendees.

The 2020 Colorado Garden & Home Show will run February 22 through March 1. As a focal point of the show, a feature garden can attract customer leads, according to event host and beneficiary Colorado Garden Foundation (CGF).

For landscape professionals creating a garden, the show will provide:

  • Signage in the garden crediting the company
  • 100 sq. ft. booth in the garden for your sales area
  • $3.00 per square foot of garden paid to your company
  • Plant material such as flowers and some trees
  • Up to a $2,000 bonus for providing shrubs and trees for the feature garden for CGF to force into bloom
  • Mulch
  • Listing on show’s website, www.ColoradoGardenFoundation.org
  • Listing in the official show program

Gardens range in size from 600 – 2,500 square feet. Landscape professionals interested in becoming a feature gardener must complete an application. Applicants must choose and rank three garden sizes. The application is due no later than June 1, 2019. A design will be required prior to final selections, but the enclosed application must be received by the deadline in order to be considered. Questions can be directed to Olga Wipfl, show manager, at 303-932-8100 or Olga@ColoradoGardenFoundation.org.
