BestYard.comChris Dominy of BestYard.com in Parker came to the landscape industry through a less common path: his love of holiday lighting. Now, after growing his seasonal holiday lighting business into a full-service residential lawn and garden maintenance company that offers snow removal and lighting services, he has taken his passion for Christmas lighting and expanded his business portfolio to include a holiday lighting retail store.

After working with Brite Ideas for years to supply commercial grade holiday lighting and displays, Dominy felt it was a “natural progression of the [business] relationship” to work with the lighting company to open a seasonal retail outlet in Englewood. The store is the first of its kind in Colorado and only the second Brite Ideas retail store in North America. The store offers lighting products directly to consumers, and it can also offer installation through BestYard.

BestYard, which won an ALCC ELITE Award for Innovation in 2019 for their landscape contractor storage yard, continues to expand their business portfolio within the landscape industry by recognizing and helping to fill gaps. The holiday lighting store, while positioned for consumers, offers a unique opportunity for landscape companies that offer holiday lighting. With Dominy behind the store, fellow landscape professionals can use the store as a resource for design and for products.

The store is now open at 9647 Suite B East County Line Road in Centennial and will be open through mid-January.
