April is National Lawn Care MonthIf you haven’t already begun marketing your services to consumers, April is a great time to remind them to schedule their services for 2016. April is National Lawn Care Month—a great way to put landscape plans on the minds of customers.

According to an online survey commissioned by the National Association of Landscape Professionals and conducted by Harris Poll last spring, eighty-three percent of Americans think having a yard is important. They want their landscape to look beautiful as they walk or drive through their neighborhood. They want their landscaping to add curb appeal and increase the value of their home. But they may not remember to call in a professional.

A large majority of Americans (67%) agree that professional landscape help would allow them to have a nicer yard. And recent studies have shown that there are health benefits, both physical and mental, to spending time outdoors in your landscape. Be sure to remind consumers that hiring an ALCC member to renovate or maintain their landscape can boost the value of the home and even improve their wellbeing.
