ALCC will offer a 2-day training course, Landscape Technician Boot Camp, May 8-9 at Pickens Technical College. The boot camp will provide training on key hands-on skills required by the landscape industry. The boot camp will prepare attendees for the Landscape Industry Certified Technician (LICT) – Exterior Certification, offered by NALP.

Boot camp attendees will choose one of five modules: Softscape Installation, Hardscape Installation, Irrigation, Turf Maintenance or Ornamental Maintenance; and will rotate through 5-7 lessons within that module over the course of the 2 day training. Each lesson will run for 1-2 hours, and will include classroom instruction and hands-on practice of the skill. Lessons will be taught by qualified instructors. At the completion of the boot camp, attendees will receive a certificate of completion.

Date: Monday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 9
Time: 8 am to 5 pm (both days - final schedule may vary and will be sent to registrants prior to the boot camp)

Registration fee: $420 (include Landscape Training Manual, lunch on both days and certificate of completion). Open to ALCC members only. Register by April 28. Limited space is available.
