The 72nd Colorado General Assembly convened today, January 8th. Ahead of this legislative session, GreenCO lobbyists prepared its 2020 legislative priorities for the Colorado green industry. Six areas of focus include water, industry regulation, infrastructure funding, sales and use tax, pesticide regulation, and education.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) issued two new opinion letters this week that address compliance issues related to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The letters are responses to specific questions asked of DOL and are official clarifications of how the law applies in the circumstances presented in the letter.
