OSHA audits were up in 2019 Email

According to a recent Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) release, the agency demonstrated an increase in audits in 2019. This increase underscores the need for companies to have a proper safety program in place and be sure to have all records and documentation in order.

Colorado shows up for November 13 H-2B fly-in Email

Colorado delegation with Senator GardnerALCC led a Colorado delegation to join the H-2B Workforce Coalition in Capitol Hill for an H-2B Advocacy Day on November 13. The fly-in, organized by AmericanHort, NALP, and the Seasonal Employment Alliance, began with a briefing for all participants, which set the stage with relevant talking points and a discussion of strategy. More than 100 professionals attended.

Volunteers returned to Arvada West to complete service project Email

Volunteers at Arvada West High SchoolAfter multiple weather and logistical setbacks and rescheduled work dates, ALCC volunteers were finally able to complete their Day of Service project at Arvada West High School on November 14. Thirteen volunteers completed the project begun last spring, when volunteers built the raised beds at Diggable Designs Landscape Construction's shop.
