Hardy Boy PlantWelby Gardens Co., a veteran business of the Colorado green industry, recently announced that their headquarters would be moving from the Denver location to its Arvada greenhouse location

The Denver location has been sold, and Welby Gardens saw the change as an opportunity to streamline operations, according to their announcement. Details of the transition are still being developed, but the wholesale shopping center will close on June 28, 2018.

The move, as well as the planned closing of the walk-in shopping center, demonstrate a shift in focus. Hardy Boy Plants will focus on “key items for landscapers and independent garden centers,” while Hardystarts will grow in an effort to “position the company as a young plant leader.”

Welby Gardens has served the green industry for more than 75 years. Details of the move are still being worked out, and business activities are expected to continue without interruption.
